NAOMI NOWAK
Necklace made of recycled silver representing the head of a hare. The charm is about 5 cm and come with a chain in 925 sterling silver.
There was a time when it was forbidden to talk to hares according to written law, superstitious and priestly taboos. The hare was considered a mysterious creature that could move freely between humans and the kingdom of the ancient gods, which facilitated communication between our worlds.
The spiral on the hare's forehead stands for the source, the root and the origin. The hare is associated with gods such as Ostara and Holda (meaning moon).
All Naomi Nowak's jewelery is hand-sculpted, mainly in wax and clay, but also with elements such as wood and found plant parts. They are molded in recycled silver and she uses a technique called "lost shape". The jewelry comes with a chain that was bought second hand and therefore varies slightly in length and design.
