VE & FASA
Remade porcelain figurine depicting a child with a sheep on his lap. It got its look after Hulda, the child who snuck around the farms in southern Sweden during the early 20th century. She watched over the animals and made sure they were well taken care of. If someone mishandled the animals, farmers and farmhands could hear the girl's hissing out in the fields and in the hayloft. At night, she watched over the calves, the kids and the lambs. Sometimes her despair over the emaciated animals took over, and she took to the scythe to kill those responsible.
