Remade porcelain cat that we painted by hand in a true Ve & fasa style. 

Nivis was a beautiful snow-white cat who appeared in winter like the first frost. She is said to be the result of the old potter Esbjörn who, in his despair after losing his daughter in a blizzard, prayed to the spirits of winter to give him back something to love. Esbjorn's prayer was answered, but Nivis came with a cost. She had a look that could freeze the blood in the veins of people and wherever she went the air became icy cold, plants died and fires went out. Shortly after Nivis entered Esbjörn's life, the potter was found frozen to death in his studio.

The ”Creation” comes with a certificate (in Swedish) that proves its authenticity, gives the background story and is signed by the maker.
