Hel scented candle

Vegan scented candle made by hand in Stockholm from coconut and canola wax. The candle has a wooden wick, which makes a crackling sound like a bonfire and emits a light woody scent.

Hel, in Norse mythology, is the goddess of death. This is a fragrance meant to bring to mind sulphur, tar and heat. At the base there are notes of birch tar, which brings to mind decay and the eternal cycle. While the middle note is a spicy and musty scent of tobacco that feels both welcoming and unforgiving.

Top notes: honey, spices, citrus
Middle notes: tobacco, sandalwood
Base notes: tar, amber, tonka, patchouli, honey

Burning time: 25-30 hours (if the care instructions are followed)
Volume: 160 g
Size: 6.5 x 8 cm

All scented candles are vegan and handmade, therefore some irregularities may occur, which gives the candles a personal touch. The fragrance oils are IFRA certified and not tested on animals.
