Dark Tales was founded in the summer of 2019 in Moscow by the author and historian Arina P. Franzén. It is a studio inspired by Gothic culture and which creates jewelry, perfumes and decorations by hand. All works are inspired by dark history and blood-curdling literature.

With a sharp sense of smell, Arina decided to combine her sharp nose with her passion for the occult and began to create her own scents. In the beginning it was just a hobby but the fascination for esoteric essences grew stronger and a year later the business was moved to Uppsala where the hobby became a brand.
